Are you one of those who makes calls from your tablet? How would you like a 10-inch tablet with voice calling? If you fall into that category, Russian based device maker, teXet has a new 10-inch tablet called the teXet X-pad QUAD 10 3G.
The teXet X-pad QUAD 10 3G (TM-1049) comes with built-in 3G module and a SIM slot which allows you surf the net via cellular connectivity and can be used as a phone i.e you can make calls, receive and send text messages. The tablet is also touted as a in-car navigator with integrated A-GPS module.
Moving to the specs, the teXet X-pad QUAD 10 3G is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT8382 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of expandable internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
It sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and good wide viewing angle. The tablet disappoint in the camera segment with a rear facing 2MP camera and a front VGA camera. Connectivity options onboard includes – 2G/3G, Bluetooth, A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The teXet X-pad QUAD 10 3G measures 255 x 167 x 9.5mm in dimensions, weighs 0.53kg, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by 6300mAh Li-ion battery. It os priced at RUB 11,790 ($188, €170).
