Russian Based Tablet maker, IRU has announced a new 8.9-inch tablet for the Russian market in form of the IRU P8901G. The device packs a longer battery capacity and has an energy saving display.
The IRU P8901G features a 8.9-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution display with a matrix PLS display, Gorilla glass protection and has a 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an octa core MediaTek 6592 1.7 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
On the rear is a 13MP AF camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for video chat and selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G connectivity, GPS, Dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and has gyroscope, accelerometer, electronic compass sensor options.
The IRU P8901G measures 230 x 146 x 8.8mm, weighs 425 grams, runs on Android 4.2 OS. The device packs a 7300mAh battery which offers about 11 hours of usage on Wi-Fi.
