The Motorola Droid Turbo went official on Tuesday (October 28) and would be available exclusively on the ‘Big Red’ Verizon Wireless in the US. Now Motorola has sent out invite to the Brazilian press on November 5 to announce a global rollout. The invite didn’t say much but the device spotted has the same Ballistic Nylon Back on the Droid Turbo.
There are strong rumours that the Motorola Droid Turbo would not retan its name when it goes Global, instead the device would be called the Moto Maxx. If you can recall, the Maxx brand of smartphones had the longest lasting battery life in smartphone history.
Supposedly, the Motorola Moto Maxx would pack the same 3900mAh battery as the Droid Turbo, which means the device would be compatible with the Motorola Turbo charger; this simply means the smartphone can last 8 hours on 15 minutes of charging. Other features would include 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED screen, quad-core Snapdragon processor 805 clocked at 2.7 GHz with Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 21 MP rear camera.
The ‘Moto Maxx’ brand was registered in July at the Office of Patents and Trademarks of the United States. The November 5 date is just some few days away, we will be keeping tabs on this device as it pans out.
