Tablets designed for Kitchen usage has been around for a while but users haven’t really taken to the niche of devices. However his has not stopped some device makers from making devices concentrated on Kitchen friendly tablets that gives the kitchen a more tech friendly affair.
French tablet maker, Qooq has announced the Qooq V3 Android tablet with emphasis and details placed around cooking plus kitchen features which makes the tablet very useful in the Kitchen. The Qooq V3 comes with a kickstand and protected with special plastic shell against splashes, scratches and shock (waterproof and shock-resistant).
The Qooq V3 features a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 display, powered by a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor 1.9 GHz Quad-Core(Cortex A15) (the same chipset powering the NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 tablet), 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot for storage expansion. Other features includes – 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, micro HDMI port, Bluetooth, GPS, 802.11n WiFi, Accelerometer and two stereo speakers.
The Qooq V3 weighs 700 grams, measures 290 x 210 x 11.5 mm, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and powered by a 5800mAh battery. The battery is said to provide around 8 hours of battery life. The device costs about €399 ($506); available in Pearl White and Red Chrome colour options.
