Samsung is not giving up so soon on its Tizen OS, infact the company has declared the OS is here to stay and would be used across a wide range of devices. The company is looking to expand its portfolio of Tizen OS running phones and the Samsung Z1 is about to have a successor. The Samsung Z3 as it is called is expected to go official in coming months.
The Tizen OS Samsung Z3 is expected to have a much more improved specs over the Samsung Z1; it would sport a 5-inch display, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Adreno 360 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage.
There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. It measures about 9mm in thickness, has a rear 5-megapixels camera with flash and a front facing 2-megapixels camera. It would come with the standard connectivity and Sensor options which includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, Bluetooth, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
The Z3 also has FM Radio, Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
