Tonino Lamborghini is the son of famed Italian automobile designer – Ferruccio Lamborghini and he is the owner of the brand. Don’t be deceived by the long name the Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri is an Android smartphone which would cost you $6000 (shipping included) this amounts to around N1.1 million in Naira.
Speaking on the launch, Chief Executive at Lamborghini mobile, Bob Hatefi states:
“Despite an uncertain economy and declining prices for mobile devices, the Italian-based company says it may be unable to meet demand.
Luxury is not a need, but it is a way to stand out. We provide technology as well as luxury. We are not after volume.”
So what do you get specs wise, you get a hand assembled Android smartphone with a unique number and comes with Dual SIM support (you won’t find many around) and support most international networks. The Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri features a 5-inch Full HD display with 10 point multitouch and oleophobic coating.
Under the hood is 2.3GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. There is a front facing 8MP camera alongside a main 20MP camera which obviously has LED flash. It runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and supports LTE connectivity.
It is available in Silver steel, Gold and Black colour options with high grade leather finish in five different colours.
