Toshiba Satellite P55T-A5116 – World’s First Technicolor Color Certified Laptop Display

The Toshiba Satellite P55T-A5116 surfaced online a few years ago, and it is capable of displaying four times as many pixels as a typical HD screen and is the world’s first Technicolor Color certified laptop display, according to Toshiba.
In terms of specifications, the new Toshiba Satellite P55t features a 15.6 inch UltraHD TruBrite touchscreen display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a pixel density of 282 pixels per inch (ppi). Toshiba made the display using IPS technology, i.e. the same tech used in high end smartphones such as iPhones, which allows for wider viewing angles and higher resolutions.
Under the hood, the laptop packs a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 quad core processor, up to 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L memory, and AMD Radeon R9 M265X freaphics with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. Other specs include a large 1-terabyte drive, four USB 3.0 ports, Harmon Kardon stereo speakers, and a built-in Blu-ray Disc rewriteable drive, among others.
The Toshiba Satellite P55T-A5116 also comes with a full version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5, ideal for photographers to take full advantage of its liquid-crystal display.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Available in April 2014, the Toshiba Satellite P55T-A5116 would be on sale for $1,499 (that’s about a whopping N243,000 – N248,000 in Naira) and would be available on the company’s website.
