Weeks after the launch of the Neffos Y5L, TP-LINK has announced the Neffos Y5, another entry-level smartphone with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and 2 GB of RAM.
Measuring 144 x 72 x 8.8mm in dimensions and weighing in at 153.5 grams, the TP-LINK Neffos Y5 sports a 5-inch LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, pixel density of 294 ppi and backed by a 2130mAh battery.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909AA) processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with Adreno 304 GPU and 16 GB built-in storage space which is expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB).
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 8 MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash; and a front facing 2 MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Neffos Y5 has 4G Dual Micro SIM slots (with Dual Standby) and is compatible with 4G FDD-LTE/3G WCDMA/2G GSM network standards.
Connectivity options onboard include – GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth 4.1. it will arrive in Dark Grey and Pearl White colour options but no wrd on pricing yet.
