Popular networking products maker, TP-LINK has forayed into the smartphone market by announcing the Neffos brand which will focus on being ‘smart and simple’. The TP-Link Neffos C5 series are the first set of devices coming from the brand.
The TP-LINK Neffos C5 series devices are the Neffos C5L, Neffos C5 and the Neffos C5 Max. All three have Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE networks, runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and will be available by March.
Commenting on the launch of the TP-LINK Neffos C5 devices – Vice President of TP-LINK, Justin Tu said;

We expect its performance in global market will provide us references to develop more and better products in the future. Starting with the smallest of the trio, the TP-LINK Neffos C5L sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA displlay, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and up to 32GB addition storage space via a microSD card slot. For photography, there is a front facing 2MP camera and a rear facing 8MP camera. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Next is the TP-LINK Neffos C5 which sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space and a 2200mAh battery. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB and for photography, there is a rear facing 8MP camera and a front facing 5MP camera.
Last of the trio is the most powerful of them, the TP-LINK Neffos C5 Max sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Neffos C5 Max is backed by a 3045mAh battery and combine a rear facing 13MP f/2.0 camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with 85-degrees wide angle lens.
