Shenzhen-based TP-Link has added a new budget smartphone to its steadily growing Neffos family of devices. Dubbed the TP-Link Neffos N1, the mid-ranger was billed to launch sometime last year with dual rear cameras, 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and Mediatek’s Helio P25 octa-core processor.
Housed in an 7.4mm slim all-metal unibody, the Neffos N1 has a similar camera arrangement with the Huawei P10. It comes equipped with 12MP (RGB) + 12MP (Monochrome) dual rear cameras with Sony IMX386 sensors, 6-element lens with f/2.0 aperture, 0.2 second PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.
The front camera is a 8MP snapper with 86-degree wide angle lens and 10-level real time beautification. It packs 4GB of RAM, a rear fingerprint sensor , Dual SIM slots (dual standby) and depends on a fast charging 3260mAh (TYP) battery, which takes only 30 minutes to achieve 50% charge.
The Neffos N1 by TP-Link comes pre-loaded with NFUI 7.0 (based on Android Nougat OS) which offers features such as Eye Protection Mode, Split screen multi-tasking, Pocket mode, double power saving mode and Unique Wi-Fi functions. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and it supports Glove Mode and Double Tap to Wake.
