German based mobile device company, TrekStor has announced a new Windows 10 OS based tablet – the TrekStor SurfTab Twin. The hybrid or 2-in-1 slate has been selling since July 30th in the company’s home country and sells with a keyboard bundled along with it for an official price tag of €299.
The TrekStor SurfTab Twin features a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) and 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3Z35G processor clocked at 1.3GHz (up to 1.83Ghz in Turbo mode) paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB space of internal storage.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB cards. The 2-in-1 or hybrid tablet has a front and rear facing 2 megapixels cameras anc connectivity options available includes – Mini HDMI port, USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and microUSB.
Measuring about 10.8mm in thickness, the TrekStor SurfTab Twin weighs 599 grams in size, runs Windows 10 OS and is backed by a sizeable 6500mAh battery which is expected to provide up to 10 hours of mixed usage. The keyboard adds additional connectivity with a USB 2.0 port.
