Two High End Nokia Phones with Android Nougat in the Making

The past few months have seen Nokia (the phone business) change hands from Microsoft ownership to that of Foxconn and HMD Global. As part of the deal, HMD Global have secured the rights to use the Nokia brand and manufacture under if for the next ten (10) years.

According to some insider sources, two High end Nokia phones are in the works; both would boot Android 7.0 Nougat from the onset with Nokia’s improved Z launcher sprinkled on top and get to be unveiled towards the end of 2016 or ‎pushed into the first quarter of 2016 (Q1 2016).

The duo high end Nokia phones (final name unknown yet) sports 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch display apiece with OLED panel and Quad HD screen resolution is mentioned for one of them. The device bodies are made entirely of metal and are dust and water protected (IP68 ratings).

The choice of processor is unknown however we won’t rule out the presence of a mid to high end processor from Qualcomm or Mediatek paired along with up to 3GB or 4GB of RAM and up to 22MP main cameras. While there is no official confirmation of the existence of these device, a possible price tag starting at around $500 is placed on them.
