The Uhans S1 has gone official. The premium looking device packs a sturdy metal body build and curved glass on the front and back. It sports a 5-inch On-Cell IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and is backed by a manageable 2200mAh battery.
On the inside, the Uhans S1 relies on an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. It supports up to 64GB additional storage via microSD, Dual SIM card slots and 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA & 4G LTE networks.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13MP camera with Sony IMX214 sensor. Below the main camera sit the fingerprint sensor which is not only usable for unlocking the device, it also serves as multi-functional touch panel.
The Uhans S1 measures 140 x 69.1 x 7.3 mm, weighs 153 grams and runs Freeme OS 6.1 which is reportedly based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device has gone on pre-sales for a price tag equivalent to US$ 140.
