UK carrier, EE has launched a new 4G LTE tablet in its own tablet range called ‘Jay’ with modest specs and affordable price tag. Available via EE shops, EE telesales and the EE online shop, the EE Jay is priced at £119.99 on pay-as-you-go. Existing and New customers can also pick the tablet on various monthly price plans with perks.
Moving to the specifications, the EE jay sports a 7.85-inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixels screen resolution, powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.06GHz with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. For photography, there is a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera for crystal clear photos and a front facing 2MP camera for Selfies.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop OS running tablet weighs 350 grams, supports 4G LTE (Cat.4) connectivity and is backed by a 3,600mAh battery that should provide up to 7 hours of usage.
