Barely a month after the Ulefone Be Touch smartphone went official, the company has announced the successor – the Ulefone Be Touch 2. Whilst most may say that is so fast, the successor comes with a bigger battery, a Full HD display this time and the battery comes with quick charge related addons.
The Ulefone Be Touch 2 still sports the same 5.5-inch IPS display but the resolution is now a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) one. There is a 2.5D Arc glass ontop with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the screen takes about 72% of the whole device.
The body measures about 8.6mm thin despite the fact that it houses a big battery capacity and has an aluminium alloy body. Talking about the battery, the capacity is now at 3050mAh and it comes with a Quick charge function which would see it charge up to 35% in 15minutes. It might not be as quick as some others but 35% in 15min is impressive considering within an hour, it should be fully full.
Under the hood, it is powered by the same 64-bit MediaTek MTK6752 SoC with a 1.7GHz eight-core Cortex-A53 CPU with a dual-core Mali-T760 MP2 GPU, 3GB and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The main camera is a 13MP Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor and the front camera is 5MP OmniVision OV5648 sensor.
The Ulefone Be Touch 2 supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE Cat. 4 networks as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The physical home button is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and it boots Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The smartphone is expected to be priced at the equivalent of $108 USD which is a flagship killing price.
