Chinese device maker, Ulefone has announced the release of its new dual rear camera smartphone – the Ulefone Gemini Pro. As expected, it brings a number of upgrades over the Ulefone Gemini but retains the fingerprint sensor (home button) and 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display with Corning Glass protection.
The Ulefone Gemini Pro runs Android 7.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and relies on a 2.6GHz deca-core Mediatek Helio X27 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space. It retains the same unibody metal design, which looks similar to an iPhone 7 with nano injected antenna opening and while not stated, the battery capacity is larger than that of the Gemini.
The smartphone has two 13MP rear facing cameras with Sony IMX258 sensor and LED flash while the front 13MP camera handles selfies and video chats. It is equipped with a USB Type-C Port for charging and transferring data (information), and should support 4G LTE connectivity as well as VoLTE.
The Ulefone Gemini Pro will go on pre-sale on May 31st and will arrive in Black and Red colours. There is no word on pricing and availability yet, however, all the necessary details would be made available once it goes on pre-sale. Also, Ulefone is running a contest for fans to win this smartphone with just $1.
