Ulefone has finally announced the latest entrant to its battery-centric Power series smartphone. The Ulefone Power 2 is the sequel to the original Power released late in 2015 and as expected comes with recent specs and features, however, it retains the same 6050mAh Lithium-ion Polymer Sony battery with 9V/2A PE2.0 fast charging support (from 0 – 100% in 2 hours).
With such a huge capacity battery, the Ulefone Power 2 is expected to last up to 4 days of normal usage. It sports a full metal unibody design, front fingerprint scanner (0.15s unlock time) and 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) LTPS AUO 2.5D curved glass display and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. In the camera asect, there is a rear facing 13MP f/2.2 camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, alongside a front facing 8MP selfie camera.
On the inside, it boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage space (up to 256GB via microSD). It has a Hybrid Dual SIM slot (Nano + Nano/microSD), Infrared sensor and supports 4G LTE VoLTE as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG.
The Ulefone Power 2 will go on pre-sale starting March 29 for an initial price tag of $179.99. Black, Grey and Golden are the available colour options.
