The Ulefone U007 Pro has gone official in China. The 5-inch device is the sequel to the Ulefone U007 released back in June and comes with slight but noticeable changes in features. It is available for sale only for $69.99 and arrives in Black, Space Grey and White colour options.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Ulefone U007 Pro packs a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU thus supporting 4G LTE networks compared to the quad-core Mediatek MT6580A processor with Mali-400 MP GPU on the U007 which only supports 3G.
The device packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), Dual SIM slots, and a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 8MP camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX149 sensor and f/2.0 aperture, along with a 2MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
Measuring 142 x 71 x 8.7 mm in dimensions and tipping the scales at 135 grams, the Ulefone U007 Pro retains the build of the U007 and is without a fingerprint scanner. It is equipped with the usual standard connectivity options – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and GPS; and backed by a 2300mAh battery.
