In recent times, lot of device manufacturers have been throwing the word ‘Max’. UMi has joined the trend by releasing model but this one has a 5.5-inch display instead of the 6-inch found on the other. The UMi Max has the elements of Samsung, Panasonic, Foxconn, Sharp, Mediatek and Sony.
Sporting an all metal unibody (aerospace-class aluminium) and 5.5-inch SHARP IPS display, the UMi Max has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and is backed by a massive 4000mAH SONY-made battery promising around 13 – 15 days of standby time.
A peek into the inside show the flagship-level Octa-Core Mediatek Helio P10 processor clocked at along with ARM Mali-T880 GPU, 3GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Internal storage space stands at 16GB but can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies while the main snapper is a 13MP PANASONIC camera capable of shooting 1080p Full HD videos. The UMi Max has Hybrid Dual SIM slots, supports 2G, 3G & 4G LTE networks and dons a rear placed fingerprint scanner (0.1 – 0.3s unlock time).
Other connectivity options on the device include – Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The UMi Max is equipped with HI-FI+ system, USB Type-C port (maybe 2.0), LED Notification Light, and will arrive in Gray and Gold Colours but there is no word on pricing yet.
