A yet to be announced smartphone from China, the Doogee X1 has surfaced online. The device in question is a fascinating one as it brings a edge-to-edge display but won’t cost more than the $100 mark. There are talks of an August launch date and the device may be sold internationally on launch.
The images sent in shows the Doogee X1 has an glossy edge-to-edge (bezel-less) display which is now getting common from some smartphone manufacturers. It is one of the first set of smartphone to use the MediaTek MT6755 SoC.
There is not much information on the specs, all we have is that it sports a 5.5-inch HD or Full HD display with 2.5D glass, Dual rear cameras, front camera and is backed by 3500mAh battery. It also supports Wireless charging and comes with eye-recognition technology. The camera resolution, RAM, ROM are all not detailed right now.
Going into a bit of speculation mode, with such beautiful device it is expected to at least run on Android Lollipop OS. The Doogee X1 would be available in two MediaTek chipset versions – the main version with the MediaTek MT6753 SoC and another version with the MediaTek MT6755 SoC.
