Upcoming Haier HL-G100 phablet specs revealed via TENAA; Fingerprint Sensor On-board

Chinese Electronics and Home Appliance company, Haier is preparing to launch a low mid-range phablet into the Chinese market. The Haier HL-G100 is the codename for the device which has been certified on TENAA in China for Haier and is expected to be primarily available in China alone. 

The Haier HL-G100 (final name unknown yet) sports a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LCD display and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear below the camera. Under the hood, a quad-core 1.3GHz processor keeps the device ticking, 1GB of RAM is available to handle tasks and it has 8GB of internal storage space. It is expected to have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

On the rear the device sports a 8MP CMOS camera sensor and a front facing 2MP snapper. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB v2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack and 4G LTE. The Haier HL-G100 weighs 150 grams, measures 144 x 72 x 9mm in dimensions and runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS. There is no word on the battery capacity. 

Looking back at the design of the device, it shares same design language with the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 phablet; but both devices are far apart in terms of specs and despite the fact that they both have fingerprint sensor.
