HTC has an upcoming smartphone in the desire series of devices; this device is the HTC Desire 828 and is confirmed to be launching in the Chinese market. There would be seven available colour options to choose from – Black, Deep Blue, Gold, Gray, Orange and Red.
The HTC Desire 828 has passed certification on TENAA with the model number – HTC D828w; as expected key specs details and image of the device is now public. The device sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD). It measures 157.7 × 78.89 × 7.9mm in dimensions and weighs 150 grams.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (either Qualcomm or MediaTek) which would be paired 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and 4MP front camera which could use the same ultrapixel setup which has become synonymous with HTC.
Since the HTC D828w or Desire 828 is heading for Asia starting with China – it would have with Dual SIM slots and supports most of network bands working in the region. Let’s not forget the presence of the BoomSound speakers. The device would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
