By now most people should know Motorola and Verizon Wireless in the US always outs Motorola DROID smartphones from time to time. Some weeks ago, two new models expected from the DROID smartphone family with the code names – DROID Kinzie and DROID Clarke.
The Motorola DROID Kinzie XT1585 has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark listing with the name – Motorola Kinzie XT1585 and as expected some of the epxcted specs are listed along. It features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display resulting in a pixel density of about 534ppi.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9GHz with Adreno 430 GPU. For handling various tasks there is 3GB of RAM onboard and there is 32GB space of internal storage (21GB user accessible).
On the rear there is a 20MP Autofocus camera with flash and can record 4K videos. There is a front facing 5MP camera for Selfies which can also record FHD videos. The device has NFC, Bluetooth, GPS connectivity and would run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS from the onset.
It looks like the Motorola DROID Kinzie XT1585 is the flagship Motorola DROID smartphone for the year. The other model – the DROID Clarke has the same 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) display as the Motorola DROID Turbo but would be powered by the Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.
Motorola has improved the processor, the front facing camera and made the screen larger with the DROID Kinzie; while much is not know about the DROID Clarke we should be getting more infos about both devices in coming days. Stay Tuned.
