Lava Mobile has announced an upgraded Xolo Black 3GB RAM version; the specs remain the same as the original version launched in July but the RAM has been increased from 2GB to 3GB thus increasing the price to Rs 11,999 (US$ 182). Snapdeal will be handling the device exclusively and flash sales commences on December 29th.
The Xolo Black 3GB runs Android 5.0.x Lollipop OS with the company’s HIVE Atlas UI ontop and uses a rear facing Dual camera setup – 13MP f/2.0 camera with LED flash + secondary 2MP f/2.4 camera for depth sensing; the front camera is a 5MP snapper with LED flash.
The device sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and oleophobic
coating on the back to keep the device free of stains. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (4 x Cortex A53 cores clocked @ 1.5GHz + 4 x Cortex A53 cores clocked @ 1.0GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU.
The Xolo Black 3GB has Dual SIM slots, measures 155.5 x 76.6 x 7.3mm in dimensions, 16GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS +GLONASS, USB OTG, 4G LTE/3G HSPA+ connectivity options and backed by a 3200mAh Lithium Polymer battery.
