Last week, Verizon Wireless added a new budget LG smartphone – the LG Stylo 2 V to its lineup. The stylus totting device has the same line of specs as previous gen Stylo devices such as the HD screen resolution but now powered by the Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755M) 64-bit processor clocked at 1.8GHz.
Sporting the usual Verizon logo on the rear and joining the scant list of Mediatek powered smartphones, the LG Stylo 2 V (LG-VS835) features a 5.7-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display, boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and back by a 3,000 mAh removable battery.
It packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space, out of which 8.78GB is accessible to the user and 4G LTE support. In the camera segment, there is a rear 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Also, the redesgined stylus pen has a housing compartment at side of the device and the screen-off memo mode allows the user jot down ideas quickly without turning on the screen.
The LG Stylo 2 V is available from Verizon for an outright purchase price of $240 or the carrier’s installment plan for $0 upfront, followed by 24 monthly payments of $10.
