Vernee has released a new mid-range smartphone with a 18:9 Fullscreen display from its budget M series. The Vernee M6 has a pretty 6.9 mm thin frosted metal body, 5.7-inch IPS display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) screen resolution, dual 2.5D curved design and 178-degree viewing angle.
Internally, the Vernee M6 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 64-bit processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It comes pre-loaded with VOS 1.0 based on Android Nougat OS but upgradable to Android Oreo.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 13MP AF camera (interpolated up to 16MP) with 0.2 fast focus and LED flash alongside front facing 8MP smart beauty effect camera (interpolated to 13MP) with professional face detection and skin beautify. The fingerprint sensor sits just below the rear camera.
The Vernee M6 is backed by a non-removable quick charging 3,300mAh Li-Po battery (5V/2A) which is expected to last 10 days of standby time or 13 hours of video playback time. Connectivity options on the device include: Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE + VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), OTG, micro USB 2.0 port and GPS + GLONASS. There is no details on pricing and availability.
