Elephone is expected to launch three versions of the Elephone P9000; one of the variants – the Elephone P9000 Lite has been handled in a video running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and the bezels at the side of the screen is vary narrow.
The Elephone P9000 Lite has a plastic body with metal frames, sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display, powered an octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 (MTK6755) processor clocked clocked at 2.0GHz with 4GB of RAM and 16GB expandable internal storage space.
The Dual Micro SIM device has a front facing 8MP camera, a rear facing 20.7MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and the Fingerprint Touch ID is located just below the main camera. Connectivity options available includes Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS and 4G LTE.
The Elephone P9000 Lite measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 8mm in dimensions, weighs 150 grams and uses the USB Type-C port for charging the devices as well as transferring data. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery with promise of up to 2 – 3 days of standby time and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
For a Lite phone, the P9000 Lite packs too much specs but who doesn’t like too much at a little price?. It is is expected to cost between $229.99 – $299.99 according to various listing on some 3rd party retail websites.
