Videocon Infinium Graphite with 4.7-inch HD display and Android 4.4 launched

Videocon has announced its latest Infinium series smartphone and the company”s flagship smartphone for the year, the Videocon Infinium Graphite. The infinum Graphite runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, offers dual-SIM support and supports 3Gconnectivity. The device is available for RS 10,499 in Black colour options.

The Videocon Infinium Graphite features a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LTPS OGS display and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on its front and rear panels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a microSD card (up to 32GB).

There is a 8MP camera with LED flash on the rear and a 5MP front-facing camera onboard for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options available includes Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 3G. The Videocon Infinium Graphite packs an 1800mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time.

The Touch Wake Gesture allows users use gesture shortcuts to interact with the device. The pre-defined gestures includes ‘C’, ‘M’, ‘O’ on the lockscreen which takes you directly to the Dial, Music player and Camera. Users can also set 4 different gestures of their own.

Earlier this month, Videocon announced a budget selfie-focused smartphone in the Infinum series, the Infinium Z40 Quad. Specs-wise, the device houses a 4″ WVGA display, powered by a quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 5MP rear camera, 3.2MP front camera, Android 4.4 kitkat OS and 1400mAh battery.
