More and more tablets booting Dual OS keeps surfacing from China. One of the latest being the Vido M9i tablet which runs on both Android and Windows OS as the listing suggests. The device is expected to arrive later this month but there is no word on pricing yet.
The Vido M9i Dual OS Tablet runs on both Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS; with just one ‘Hot Key’ switching between both OS is instant without having to restart the device. It sports a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) Retina display and has a beautifully designed aluminium body build.
Under the hood the device is powered by a Quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor which clocks at 1.33GHz (up to 1.86GHz with Turbo Boost) with Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of eMMC storage. It is expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. The device packs a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera combination.
The Vido M9i Dual OS tablet measures 234 x 165 x 8.1mm in dimension, weighs 495 grams and is backed by a 8000mAh battery. The device has standard connectivity suite – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB OTG. There is no word if it’s supports cellular connectivity.
Getting these devices outside China is the issue.
