Vivo’s iQOO gaming-focused brand has unveiled its latest smartphone offerings in China – the iQOO Pro and iQOO Pro 5G. Both models have the same 6.41-inch (1080 × 2340 pixels) Full HD+ 19.5:9 Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, USB Type-C 2.0 port, in-display fingerprint sensor and depends on a 4,000mAh battery with 44W ultra-fast charging.
On the inside, it is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ 7nm Mobile Platform paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB built-in (UFS 3.0) storage. Photography is handled by a triple camera system with primary 48MP (f/1.79) camera with Sony IMX582 sensor and 0.8μm pixel size, 13MP (f/2.2) camera with 120-degree ultra-wide lens and 2MP (f/2.4) depth camera for portrait shots.
It is equipped with a 12MP dual pixel front-facing camera for selfies, superconducting carbon fibre and temperature equalizing plate plus liquid cooling for improved heat dissipation and comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 9 (based on Android 9). There are also features such as Game space 2.0, 4D Vibration 3.0, Pressure-Sensitive Buttons and Halo cool lighting effect 2.0.
The main model (4G only) is available in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for CNY 3,198 and 12GB RAM with 128GB storage for CNY 3,498. The 5G model supports 5G + 4G via Dual SIM slots) is available in three configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for CNY 3,798; 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for CNY 3,998 and 12GB RAM with 128GB storage for CNY 4,098.
The iQOO Pro will go on sale starting August 30 while the iQOO Pro 5G will go on sale later in starting September 2. Both models will arrive in Le Mans Blue and Racing Black colours.
