Vivo has officially announced the Vivo Y27L smartphone, the device premium looking metal body build with a thin body frame but in terms of specs, the device doesn’t offer anything special. It is currently selling in India and China for INR 12990 ($196) and CNY 1498 ($235) respectively in Sliver.
Measuring 6.99mm thin and rocking a magnesium alloy frame with metal back; the Vivo Y27L sports a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS capacitive multi-touch display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB native storage space.
On the back lies a 8MP camera with LED flash, a front facing 5MP front camera for selfies and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB). Connectivity option on the Y27L includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Sensor option includes – Gravity sensor, Light and proximity sensor.
In a body with136 .9 x 68. 1 x 6. 99mm in dimensions and weighing around 138 grams, the Vivo Y27L has dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and runs Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with Funtouch OS 2.0 and is backed by a 2260mAh Li-po battery.
For the Audiophiles, the presence of the Hi-Fi chip AK4375 made by AKM and Vivo for quality listening experience will be a welcome sight.
The device also has gestures support, by drawing ‘M’ on the screen to play music, when it drawn again it pauses the music; Sliding leftwards or rightward to switch music; drawing ‘e’ to wake the browser; drawing ‘W’ to wake up whatsapp and drawing ‘C’ to wake up contact.
