Vivo has launched the pro version of the Vivo S1 with Helio P70 octa-core SoC, 12MP + 8MP + 5MP triple camera setup and a 24.8MP pop-up selfie camera. The Vivo S1 Pro has the same body build as the non-pro model (which is also based on the Vivo V15) and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core mobile platform paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB built-in expandable storage.
The smartphone has a smaller 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 32MP (f/2.0) pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint sensor and the triple rear camera setup consists of a 48MP (f/1.78) primary rear camera paired with 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide angle sensor and 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The specs are reminiscent of the Vivo V15 Pro and power is supplied by a 3,700mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.
The Vivo S1 Pro has a USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5 and comes pre-loaded with FunTouch OS 9 (based on Android 9 Pie). Both models – 6GB + 256GB & 8GB + 128GB – are available in China for CNY 2,698. They are listed up for pre-orders on Vivo China e-Shop website and will arrive in Coral Red and Love Blue colours starting May 9th.
