For a couple of days now, the Vivo India team have been teasing the Vivo V3 and V3 Max on their facebook page, both devices are believed to launch soon. The phablet-sized Vivo V3 Max has paid a visit to Chinese agency – TENAA where the images and key specs has been detailed.
Housed in a metal unibody, the Vivo V3 Max Phablet sports a 5.5-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), resulting in a pixel density of 401 ppi. The device measures 153.9 × 77.1 × 7.58 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 168 grams and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
Under the hood, the V3 Max is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage space. Surprisingly, both the front and rear camera features are not confirmed but there is a fingerprint scanner just below the main camera.
The Vivo V3 Max supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as standard connectivity options – GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The battery capacity as expected is not listed but the device will be available in Gold colour only.
Although details of the Vivo V3 has not been detailed yet, it is expected to share majority of the specs of the V3 Max but the processor, battery capacity and display size could be different.
