Vivo V5s Unveiled With 4GB RAM, MTK6750 SoC, Front 20MP Camera

Chinese device maker, Vivo Mobiles has released the Vivo V5s – a new variant of last year’s selfie-focused V5 in India, Southeast Asia and South Asia. The new Vivo V series smartphone still runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and the front home button houses the fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo V5s has a 20MP front facing selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, Moonlight Flash, SONY IMX376 ‎1/2.78″ sensor, 5P lens and 1080p Full HD video capture‎. The front camera is a 13MP snapper with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), LED flash and Face Beauty Mode 6.0.

Backed by a 3000mAh battery, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, ‎1.5 GHz Octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and Hybrid Dual SIM slot (micro + Nano / microSD – expandable up to 256GB).

Connectivity options include – 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. The Vivo V5s is priced at Rs. 18,990 (US$ 295) in India and available through online and offline retailers in India. Crown Gold (May 20th) and Matte Black (May 6th) are the available colour options.
