Update: A new leak has confirmed the Vivo V9 will in fact have a 6.3-inch FHD+ FullView display, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, front facing 24MP camera with A.I Face Beauty, Face Unlock, Triple Card slot (Dual Nano SIM + microSD card slot) and a 3,260mAh battery. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor and boots Android Oreo OS with FunTouch OS 4.0.
Vivo is expected to announce its upcoming fullscreen smartpone – the Vivo V9, at launch events in India and other South East Asian countries. The confirmed successor to the Vivo V7 Series has surfaced in various leaks and Vivo Indonesia released official promo videos for the device.
The Vivo V9 is expected to feature a large 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core mobile platform and comes pre-loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.0.
The smartphone is equipped with 12MP + 8MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and a front facing 24MP camera with soft LED flash for both selfies and Face Unlock. It measures 155.9 x 75.2 x 7.2 mm, weighs 159 grams and depends on a lasting 3,205mAh battery.

The Vivo V9 packs 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and rear fingerprint sensor. It will reportedly be priced at IDR 4.999.000 (US$ 350) in Indonesia when it launches on March 22. The phone will also be unveiled in India on March 27.
