Vivo Mobiles has announced the launch of the Vivo V9 Youth, a more affordable version of the Vivo V9 in India. The mid-ranger has the same notched 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with 90% screen-to-body ratio, Dual nano SIMs, 4GB of RAM and runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Funtouch OS 4.0.
On the inside, the Vivo V9 Youth is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform and packs 32GB built-in storage instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 mobile platform and 64GB storage on the main V9. Both storage options are available up to 256GB via microSD.

For photography, the camera setup comprises of 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras (instead of the 16MP + 5MP) and the front selfie camera has decreased from 24MP on the V9 to a 16MP sensor with soft LED flash and also supports Face unlock. It also features a rear fingerprint sensor, supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and power is supplied by a 3,260mAh battery.
The Vivo V9 Youth is available online from Amazon.in, Flipkart and Paytm Mall; and offline retailers across India for a price tag of INR Rs. 18,990 (US$ 287) and arrives in Champagne Gold and Pearl Black colour options.
