Vivo has announced the much publicised Vivo X5Pro smartphone would be officially announced on May 13. The company made this disclosure earlier today and has a scheduled event in Beijing on that day at around 8MP (Beijing Time).
The Vivo X5Pro would come with a Retina scanner which is expected to perform a range of functions on the device including secure unlocking of the device and maybe locking the apps too. The device is said to come with beautiful design with aluminium edges and 2.5D Curved glass ontop.
The X5Pro is expected to run Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is powered by a 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB space of internal storage and a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. Handling photography on the device is a 13MP camera with f/2.0 lens and a front facing 5MP camera with f/2.4 lens. The rest of the spec features includes – 4G LTE, Funtouch OS 2.1 which is based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and a possible 4150mah battery capacity.
