Vivo and China Telecom has announced the Vivo X5Pro V which would be available from the Chinese mobile carrier. This smartphone is the carrier’s version of the original Vivo X5Pro, but there is no word on pricing.
The Vivo X5Pro V is specifically designed for China to support the network bands of China Telecom, as such, it supports FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, CDMA and GSM networks. It also supports LTE Cat.4 which has a maximum download speed of around 150Mbps and 50Mbps of upload time.
The Vivo X5Pro V sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display, has an aluminium body build and adopts the curved glass approach with double 2.5D arc glass on the front and rear. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor 64-bit (MSM8939) clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU.
The primary camera is a 13MP camera with Sapphire Glass protection and has a front facing 8MP camera. The front camera can be interpolated to take images and pictures in 32MP. The device also comes with a eye Recognition technology which would offer same features as the fingerprint scanner.
Asides 4G LTE, the Vivo X5Pro V also has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 801.11 b/g/n and GPS. The device makes use of 2GB of RAM, has 16GB/32GB spaces of internal storage to choose from. It comes with Dual SIM slots, runs on Funtouch OS 2.1 which is based on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
