Vivo has announced the Pro Plus (Pro+) edition of the Vivo X60 Pro smartphone. Now the top of the X60 line, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is now backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform for 5G connectivity instead of Samsung’s Exynos 1080 processor but retains most of the specs of the X60 Pro.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ has the same 6.56 inches FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10+ support, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage (UFS 3.1), and depends on a 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast charging. On the 12GB RAM version, the phone has a Memory Fusion Technology feature which uses 3GB from the storage as additional RAM.
Photography is handled by a quad rear camera system headed by a 50MP (f/1.57, OIS) Samsung GN1 primary shooter paired with a 48MP (f/2.2, 114° FOV, 4-axis OIS) ultra-wide, 8MP (f/3.4, OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x super zoom) periscope and 32MP (f/2.08, 50mm focal length) portrait sensors. Vivo teamed up with ZEISS optics for the cameras and all four support AutoFocus as well as 8K video recording.
The rest of the specs include a 32MP (f/2.45) selfie camera, in-screen fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, face unlock, and OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
