An upcoming smartphone from Vivo has been spotted on Chinese agency listing – TENAA, it is expected to be either the successor or a variant of the Vivo X6 Plus. Expected to arrive as the Vivo X6S Plus (vivo X6SPlus A), the new device doesn’t stray away from the design of the previous models but comes with minimal changes between them.
Moving to the Vivo X6S Plus Specs, it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz (compared to the octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz on the X6 Plus) with 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in non-expandable storage and boots Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
Measuring 158.16 x 79.94 x 7.7 mm in dimensions and weighing 190 grams; the all metal rocking device sports a 5.7-inch OLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) screen resolution, a front facing 8MP camera for video chats & selfies and a rear facing 16MP camera with OIS and CMOS sensor.
On the rear, the fingerprint scanner can be located below the main camera. The Vivo X6S Plus is complaint with GSM, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA and CDMA 2000 networks. Connectivity options onboard – Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
There is no word yet on the battery capacity of the X6S Plus but it should be within the range of 3000 to 3500mAh. Once the device goes official in China, it could later be available in other markets in other regions.
