Vivo has confirmed plans to launch new X series smartphones next week (July 6). According to a teaser posted by the Chinese company, the Vivo X9s and X9s Plus will both come equipped with dual front cameras (20MP + 5MP) and are expected to slot in ahead of last year’s Vivo X9 and X9 Plus.
At the moment, there isn’t much information as regarding the official specs, features and pricing, however, the duo has been spotted on benchmarks and certification agencies. Based on a listing on GFXBench, the Vivo X9 (Vivo TD1608) has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platform paired with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB RAM. The rest include: a 16MP rear camera, 4K video capture, fingerprint scanner, 64GB built-in storage space (47GB available to the user) and at least 3,000mAh battery.
The Vivo X9s Plus, will have a bigger 5.85-inch Full HD display, 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor, and a long lasting 3,920mAh battery. It should have the same storage, connectivity, memory, camera and others features as the Vivo X9s. It is bigger (162.59 x 78.84 x 7.25 mm) and heavier (183.2 grams) than the X9s.
