The Vivo Y95 is the latest addition to the brand’s Y series portfolio. The smartphone surfaced on Vivo’s Philippines website with a 6.22-inch (1520 x 720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 IPS display with waterdrop notch and 88.6% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved glass protection.
On the inside, it relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD slot). It comes pre-loaded with FunTouch OS 4.5 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS) and AI Game Mode.
Photography is handled by 13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) dual rear cameras with PDAF, LED flash, AI Portrait Mode, AI scene recognition, AI Night Shot, HDR mode and more. At the front, the AI selfie camera has been upped to a 20MP sensor with AI face beauty and selfie flash support.
The Vivo Y95 is also equipped with support for both face unlock and rear fingerprint sensor, and power is supplied by a large 4,030mAh battery. It arrives in Aurora Red and Starry Black colours, and is priced at PHP 13,999 at all major Vivo stores and kiosks in the Philippines. It is also available online on Lazada with EMI options.
