Vivo has released a new smartphone under its all-new Z series line in China. Dubbed the Vivo Z1, the mid-tier device sports a metal plus glass body and a notched 6.26-inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 19:9 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio and narrow bezels.
The smartphone, which shares similar specs with the Vivo V9 and Vivo X21, comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 4.0 (based on Android Oreo OS) and is equipped the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core mobile platform paired with 4GB RAM. It features a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, front facing 12MP camera with AI face beauty and support for face unlock.

Available in Black, Blue and Red colour options, the Vivo Z1 will go on sale next week (June 4th) in China for a price tag of CNY 1,798 (USD 281).
