The Vivo Z5 has gone on sale in China. It is available in Bluish-White, Dark Green and Purple colour options and comes in four RAM and storage configurations. The base model (6GB + 64GB) is available for CNY 1,598; the 6GB RAM + 128GB model costs CNY 1,898 and the 6GB + 256GB model costs CNY 1,998. The top end model (8GB + 128GB) is priced the most at CNY 2,298.
Internally, the Vivo Z5 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 10nm Mobile Platform paired with up to 8GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of built-in storage. It comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) and power is supplied by a 4,500mAh battery with Vivo’s 22.5W FlashCharge technology, which charges the battery up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup with a primary 48MP (f/1.79) camera with AI scene recognition and 0.8μm pixel size, 8MP (f/2.2) 120-degree ultra-wide camera and 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensing camera. The Z5 has a 6.38-inch 19.5:9 Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90% screen-to-body ratio – lower than the Vivo Z5x, in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera, face wake feature, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
