The Vivo Z5x is the latest smartphone to join the recent influx of Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform-powered devices from various Chinese device makers. It comes pre-loaded with Funtouch OS 9 (based on Android 9.0 Pie) and depends on a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and reverse charging i.e. charge other devices via micro USB port.
The Vivo Z5x has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 LCD display with 90.77% screen-to-body ratio, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5, 16MP (f/2.0, LED flash) selfie camera in the punch-hole and 16MP (f/1.78) + 8MP (f/2.2, 120-degree) + 2MP (f/2.4) triple rear cameras. The device has a plastic back and arrives in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Phantom Black colours.
Pricing starts at CNY 1,398 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model; CNY 1,498 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage; CNY 1,698 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model and CNY 1,998 for the top-end 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It is now available for order and will go on sale in China from next week.
The company quietly listed the Vivo Z3x on the website in China. It is very similar to the Vivo Z1 that was launched last year and feature a 6.26-inch 19:9 Full HD+ TFT display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage, 13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) dual rear cameras, 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera and a 3,260mAh battery. It is priced at CNY 1,198 and arrives in Black, Red and Purple colours.
