TGF has covered some smartphone under the VKWorld brand and some of their offering have been okay to some extent (we haven’t had hands-on with any yet). The Vkworld VK700X is the latest offering the company which is priced around the $60 mark ($59.99 to be precise).
The VKworld Vk700X has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), CNC metal frame, 6.9mm thin body build and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB native storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
The entry-level device with Dual SIM slots, has a rear facing 8MP OV camera with Flash, a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. For connectivity, the device has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G and micro USB 2.0 with no support for 4G LTE networks.
The company is not giving away any information on the battery capacity but with that price tag one shouldn’t expect too much. The VKWorld Vk700X runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is available this October in Black, White and Gold colours.
