Chinese device maker, Voyo has launched a new convertible laptop similar to the Lenovo Yoga 2, in its Vbook line. The Voyo Vbook A1 has an 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and a 360-degree hinge which allows for usage in four various modes including laptop, stand, tablet and tent modes.
The convertible also supports original stylus pen however it doesn’t have an active digitizer and the screen does not support pressure sensitive input.
It is equipped with an Intel Celeron N3450 “Apollo Lake” quad-core processor, 9th Gen Intel HD 500 graphics and Dual storage (32GB eMMC storage + 128GB M.2 SSD or 32GB eMMC storage + 256GB M.2 SSD). There is a second DIY SSD slot for additional storage space up to 256GB or 512GB.
The Windows OS-powered Voyo Vbook A1 has 4GB of RAM, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, 2MP webcam (front), 3.5mm audio jack, SIM slot and micro HDMI 1.4 support. It measures 290 x 196 x 16mm and weighs about 1.2kg and backed by a 3.7V/12,000mAh lithium battery for about 7 – 9 hours of usage.
The company is also expected to release a 13.3-inch Voyo Vbook V3 – with Intel Apollo Lake Pentium N4200 processor, measures 330 x 220 x 16 mm in dimensions and weighs 1.5kg. The 11.6-inch Vbook A1 is priced at $324 while the 13.3-inch Vbook V3 starts at $361.
