However, the above mentioned mobile payment platforms all have their restrictions but Walmart Pay is almost available to every one as it can be used on both Android and iOS devices to pay for goods at any checkout point. The app is available for download on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

All the actions takes place exactly in the Walmart app which currently used by over 22 million users monthly and checking out using Walmart Pay through the app involves three seamless steps. Payments can be made from major debit, pre-paid, credit and even Walmart gift cards.

The mobile payment solution will first be made available in select Walmart stores in the US starting this month and a nationwide launch is expected to be completed before the first half of 2016 (Q1 2016).

And here is the video on How to Register for Walmart Pay:

Commenting on the launch of the mobile payment solution, president and CEO of Walmart Global eCommerce, Neil Ashe said;

”The Walmart app was built to make shopping faster and easier. Walmart Pay is the latest example – and a powerful addition – of how we are transforming the shopping experience by seamlessly connecting online, mobile and stores for the 140 million customers who shop with us weekly.”
