On TGF we are biased towards and against any brand, once we get ‘proper information on devices and products we put then on. Walton is one of those brands which we haven’t heard of before but the company just announced a Android Lollipop OS running Walton Primo G6 smartphone in Bangladesh.
If you were expecting a high-end smartphone, the hopes stops here; asides running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Walton Primo G6 sports a 4.5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) FWVGA display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (obviously not from Qualcomm but possibly Spreatrum) with Mali 400 GPU.
1GB of RAM is onboard to keep things going, there is a 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. On the back, there is a 8MP camera with BSI sensor and a front facing 3.2MP camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on the Waltom Primo G6 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB v2.0 and 3G connectivity. It measures 131.4 x 64.7 x 8 mm in dimensions, supports Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and weighs 135 grams (with battery).
The Walton Primo G6 is backed by a reasonable 1850mAh battery and available colour includes Black + Silver and Black + White options. It is priced around 9000 BDT (~$116).
