Bangladeshi based device manufacturer, Walton has announced the Walton Primo V2, an Android Lollipop OS running LTE enabled smartphone powered with an octa-core SoC. There is no word on pricing yet but the device is available in Black and White colour options.
The Walton Primo V2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The device sports a 5-inch Quantum Sharp Pure Black IPS, OGS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The main camera is a 13MP Autofocus camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash; a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor, 88-degree wide angle lens for selfies; and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion up to 32GB. Connectivity options on the Walton Primo V2 includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Wi-Fi Hotspot, microUSB v2.0 and 4G LTE.
Measuring 138.8 x 69.6 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and weighing 130 grams, the Walton Primo V2 has Dual SIM support, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 3000mAh Lithium Polymer battery which is expected to provide up to 2 days or more of mixed usage.
